DID YOU KNOW...

In my youth, I would go to the local futsal courts every. single. night. with a bag full of different coloured shirts and ask every team if I could play for them.

The obsession and passion for football is how Fast-Track Football was born.

Founder of Fast-Track Football

Football has been my passion since I first learnt to walk. Hailing from Burnley of Northern England, to Sydney's Northern Beaches, I have been an active and enthusiastic member of the local football community for the last two decades.

My football journey started at Pittwater Football Club, where I played for 12 seasons. I am proud to continue to represent Pittwater FC, no longer as a player, but as a referee and coach.

You might be wondering why I don't play anymore.

In 2013, in my final year of high school and peak of my athleticism, I suffered a life-altering injury where I fell 30 metres from Dee Why Headland while walking along the coastal track. The ground collapsed from beneath me and I was airlifted to hospital, where I underwent emergency surgery on my brain and spine. I was forced to turn down scholarship offers to play in Europe and America due to the extent of my injuries. My playing days were over.

While I can't play anymore, my injuries can't stop my love for football. I am a qualified football and futsal referee, as well as a licensed coach, and try to get involved as much as possible within the football community.

My main focus as a coach is to build confidence in the players I work with. I am committed to fostering growth, on and off the field, and believe that a player's mindset is just as important as their skillset.
